Marta Lúthien 'Emeldir Peredhel' y yo escribimos un artículo para la edición de invierno del 2020 de la revista Estel (nº 94, pp. 41-46) de la Sociedad Tolkien Española (STE) con el título de: "Lairë Nerion Imnetyalo /Poema sobre la hipocresía de los hombres. Traducción al Quenya de un poema de sor Juana Inés de la Cruz".

   Disfrutamos mucho escribiendo juntas ese artículo. A las dos nos gusta el quenya y sor Juana, escritora feminista mexicana del s. XVII  [tengo también publicado en este blog una charla sobre Sor Juana].  En resumen, que Marta Lúthien y yo, entusiastas del quenya y de sor Juana, hemos combinado en este artículo nuestro gusto por Tolkien, por el estudio de las lenguas y por la visibilización de mujeres.

Marta Lúthien 'Emeldir Peredhel' and I wrote an article for the 2020 winter edition of the Spanish Tolkien Society magazine Estel (no. 94, pp. 41-46) with the title "Lairë Nerion Imnetyalo / Poem about the hypocrisy of men. Translation into Quenya of a poem by sor Juana Inés de la Cruz".

   We really enjoyed writing that article together. Both of us like Quenya and sor Juana, a Mexican feminist writer of the 17th century [I have also published on this blog a talk about Sor Juana]. In short, Marta Lúthien and I, enthusiasts of Quenya and Sor Juana, have combined in this article our love for Tolkien, for the study of languages and for the visibilization of women.
