    A continuación mi charla sobre la traducción en prosa del poema épico Beowulf realizada por J.R.R. Tolkien en 1926 y publicada en mayo del 2014 por su hijo Christopher Tolkien.

 

   The following is the slideshow presentation of my talk on the 1926 prose translation of the epic poem Beowulf  by J.R.R.Tolkien. This prose translation was published for the first time in 2014 by his son Christopher Tolkien.

   Mi estudio se divide en tres partes: una introducción sobre el poema Beowulf y su época; análisis de las traducciones que sobre este poema se han hecho hasta hoy; y, en tercer lugar, análisis y estudio de la traducción hecha por Tolkien.

  My study can be divided into three parts: an introduction about the poem Beowulf; a study and analysis of the translations of the poem made before and after 1926; and, especially, the study and analysis of the translation made by J.R.R.Tolkien.
